WOYE Pasture Tractor Configurations

1. 25HP Pasture Tractor

The 25HP configuration is suited to lighter pasture maintenance, transport, mowing, spraying, and general farm-property work where a compact tractor is preferred.
The current 25HP configuration uses 4WD, with 2WD available as an option, an 8F+2R transmission, 540/720 rpm PTO, 310 mm ground clearance, and a 1680 mm wheelbase. Hydraulic output is provided through one group and can be expanded to two.
Its compact dimensions make this configuration relevant where maneuverability and access are more important than maximum pulling capacity.

2. 30HP Pasture Tractor

The 30HP configuration provides a step up in working capacity while retaining a relatively compact tractor format.
The configuration includes 8F+2R transmission, 540/1000 rpm PTO, hydraulic power steering, a 1745 mm wheelbase, and 310 mm ground clearance.
It can be considered for general pasture maintenance, transport, light PTO-driven implements, and work around smaller livestock properties.

3. 35HP Pasture Tractor

The 35HP configuration provides additional power for general farm and pasture operations while remaining within the compact tractor range.
Depending on configuration, it can be equipped with 4WD and PTO options including 540/720 or 540/1000 rpm.
For pasture work, the final tractor configuration should be considered together with the implement, terrain, and required working speed rather than horsepower alone.

4. 40HP Pasture Tractor

The 40HP 4WD configuration is positioned for more demanding general-purpose farm work.
The current configuration uses a 4WD drivetrain, an 8+8 transmission, 540/1000 rpm PTO, and an 840 kg hydraulic lifting capacity.
This combination can support mowing, tillage, transport, and other PTO- or three-point-hitch operations commonly required on mixed farms and pasture properties.

5. 50HP Pasture Tractor

The 50HP configuration provides a larger working platform for pasture maintenance, transport, and heavier PTO-driven implements.
The current 50HP configuration includes 4WD, a 1980 mm wheelbase, 330 mm ground clearance, 540/1000 rpm PTO, Category I three-point linkage, and one or two hydraulic output groups.
The 50HP class can also provide additional capacity when the tractor needs to perform both pasture maintenance and general farm work.

6. 60HP Pasture Tractor

The 60HP configuration is intended for operations requiring more power and implement capacity.
The current configuration uses a 44.1 kW diesel engine, 4WD, 8F+2R transmission with 8F+8R available as an option, 540/1000 rpm PTO, two hydraulic output groups, and a Category I rear three-point hitch.
Optional tire configurations and equipment can be considered according to soil conditions, transport requirements, and the intended implements.

7. 70HP Pasture Tractor

The 70HP configuration provides a higher power level for larger pasture areas and heavier field operations.
The WY704 configuration uses 4WD, an 8F+8R shuttle transmission, 540/1000 rpm PTO, a Category I three-point hitch, approximately 330 mm ground clearance, and a 1900 mm wheelbase.
The adjustable rear track can also be useful when tractor stability and tire position need to be considered for different field conditions.

Why Pasture Tractor Configuration Matters

Pasture work is not limited to one type of operation. A tractor may be used for mowing grass, towing trailers, spreading materials, preparing soil, operating PTO-driven equipment, or maintaining farm roads and livestock areas.
For this reason, the tractor should be considered as a combination of:

  • Engine power
  • Four-wheel-drive system
  • Tire specification
  • Ground clearance
  • PTO speed and output
  • Hydraulic capacity
  • Three-point hitch capacity
  • Transmission ratios
  • Tractor weight and ballast
  • Implement requirements

The appropriate configuration depends on the actual combination of jobs rather than the pasture area alone.

Four-Wheel Drive and Traction

Pasture surfaces can change considerably across a working season. Dry grassland, wet ground, slopes, field entrances, and uneven farm tracks can place different demands on the tractor.
Four-wheel drive can provide additional traction when operating conditions require it. WOYE's compact and utility tractor range includes multiple 4WD configurations from 25HP upward.
Tire selection also affects the way the tractor interacts with the ground. Agricultural tires, paddy tires, and other tire configurations should be selected according to the actual terrain and operating requirements.

Ground Clearance and Uneven Terrain

Ground clearance becomes important when the tractor needs to cross uneven pasture, field edges, grass ridges, or rough farm tracks.
Selected WOYE compact tractor configurations provide approximately 310–330 mm of ground clearance. This allows the tractor configuration to be considered for field and pasture environments where clearance from the ground is relevant.
The required clearance still depends on the terrain and the type of work being performed.

PTO, Hydraulics and Three-Point Hitch

Many pasture operations depend on PTO-driven or three-point-mounted implements.
Depending on the tractor model, WOYE configurations provide PTO speeds such as:

  • 540 rpm
  • 540/720 rpm
  • 540/1000 rpm

Hydraulic output can also vary by model. For example, the 25HP configuration provides one hydraulic output group with expansion to two, while the current 60HP configuration provides two hydraulic output groups.
The three-point hitch allows the tractor to work with compatible implements such as mowers, rotary tillers, plows, seeders, and other agricultural equipment. The actual implement compatibility depends on tractor power, hitch category, lifting capacity, PTO requirements, and implement specifications.

Pasture Tractor Applications

Depending on the tractor and implement configuration, WOYE tractors can be used for:

  • Grass and Pasture Mowing
  • Hay and Forage Work
  • Trailer and Farm Transport
  • Pasture and Farm Maintenance
  • Livestock Property Operations

Grass and Pasture Mowing

Tractors equipped with compatible mowing equipment can be used for routine grass and pasture maintenance.

Hay and Forage Work

Higher-power configurations can be matched with suitable PTO-driven equipment for selected hay and forage operations.

Trailer and Farm Transport

Tractors can be used for moving trailers, feed, materials, tools, and other loads around the farm, subject to tractor capacity, trailer specifications, terrain, and local operating requirements.

Pasture and Farm Maintenance

Three-point-mounted implements can support tasks such as light soil preparation, vegetation management, grading-related work, and general property maintenance.

Livestock Property Operations

Compact and utility tractor configurations can also be used around livestock facilities, access roads, grassland, and other farm areas where a versatile tractor is required.

Matching the Tractor to Your Pasture

The most suitable configuration depends on what the tractor will actually be required to do.
For lighter mowing, transport, and general property maintenance, a compact 25–40HP configuration may be sufficient.
For heavier implements, larger working widths, or more demanding field conditions, 50–70HP configurations provide greater power and implement capacity.
When selecting a configuration, the key factors include:

  • Main implements and their power requirements
  • PTO speed and required PTO power
  • Required lifting capacity
  • Terrain and ground conditions
  • Tire requirements
  • Transport loads
  • Available working space
  • Required operating speed

Horsepower should therefore be considered together with the complete tractor and implement configuration.

Pasture Tractor Configuration Support

WOYE can configure tractors according to the intended application, implement requirements, terrain, and operating conditions.

When requesting a pasture tractor, it is useful to provide:

  • Main type of pasture or farm work
  • Implements to be used
  • Required PTO speed
  • Terrain and soil conditions
  • Transport requirements
  • Preferred tire configuration
  • Cabin, canopy, or other operator-equipment requirements

The final tractor configuration should be determined according to the selected model, implement specifications, and actual operating conditions.
